Job Summary:
As a TrainingSpecialist, you willprovide customers and employees with the training they need to become more efficient in the design, production, operation, and/or maintenance of our products whichincludes the continual updating of technology.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Conducts training sessions that provide employees and customers with the knowledge needed to be more efficient with respect to new technologies.
2. Develops and prepares class materials to provide students with accurate and up-to-date information.
3. Produces and/or procures visual aids for presentations.
4. Maintains curriculum, materials, and records on course content such as vehicle familiarization, system operation, preventive maintenance, and safety operation.
5. Keeps abreast of new technologies with regard to Oshkosh Truck Corporation's products.
6. May direct and/or supervise the activites of other training specialists or department members.
7. May direct and/or supervise curriculum development and/or class materials, visual aides, etc.
8. Travels as required.
Qualifications (Education and Experience):
Basic:
1. Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Vocational Education, or Communications or skill/knowledge level regarding specialized techniques or principles equivalent to four-year college degree.
2. 5 or moreyears related automotive or heavy truck operations and maintenance experience.
Preferred:
1. Experience with teaching technical information in an understandable manner in front of an interactive group of students.
2. Experienceinterpretting diagrams and schematics, and reading blueprints and drawings.
3. Experience with Windows-based software.
4. Knowledge in computer presentation techniques.
